Hi, I'm Simone.

I'm a country girl at heart, a former cattle station cook and governess, a wife, mum, funeral director and celebrant with a genuine love for people, stories and the moments in life that matter most.

Since becoming a marriage celebrant in 2021, I've had the privilege of marrying more than 300 couples across rural and regional Queensland. From elegant country weddings and family properties to intimate celebrations and big weekends away, no two ceremonies are ever quite the same, and that is exactly how I like it.

My style is warm, grounded and beautifully considered. I want your ceremony to feel polished without being stiff, heartfelt without becoming overly sentimental, and personal without ever feeling forced.

There will be meaningful moments, plenty of personality and, where it suits you, a little bit of humour along the way.

For me, a great ceremony should sound like you. It should reflect the life you have built, the people you love and the reason everyone has gathered to celebrate with you.

I bring a calm, confident presence to the day and take care of the details so you can simply be in the moment. Whether I'm standing beside you while you say your vows or staying on to MC the celebrations that follow, my role is to make everything feel easy, natural and genuinely enjoyable.

I'm incredibly proud to have been recognised by the Australian Wedding Industry Awards as Southern Queensland Country Civil Celebrant of the Year in 2024 and 2025, after receiving Highly Commended in 2023.

But the part of this work I value most is much simpler than any award. It is being trusted with your story.
